Hey there, followers [stalkers]. Haven't been on in a while. I was going to attempt a review a few weeks ago, but unfortunately, blogger was down and now I have forgotten the topic. Luckily, I have a new one. As some of you know, although not many, I went to a concert with my father to celebrate my 17th birthday, which is tomorrow. Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience was playing at The Pageant in St. Louis, MO. As much as I prefer Chicago, this would be my only chance to see this amazing (for lack of a better phrase) tribute band. I had the time of my life. This was actually my first non-christian concert. Now I've been to several shows where non-christian bands had played, but this was the first concert. Here's a little background on the band: Led Zeppelin was a London super-group that originated in 1968, and consisted of guitarist Jimmy Page, drummer John "Bonzo" Bonham, bassist John Paul Jones (not the Navy Admiral), and singer Robert Plant. Led Zeppelin is the definition of good music. They played great music until John's unfortunate death in the year 1980. Luckily for today's generation, he had a son, Jason. And luckily for Jason, he inherited his father amazing ability to play the drums. So now he uses his ability for good, not evil, and plays shows all around the USofA, giving our generation the chance that we never thought we'd have. Now, back to the concert. The band opened the show with the obvious choice, Rock and Roll. This is one of my favorite Zeppelin songs. They followed with hits such as Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, Over the Fields and Far Away, Stairway to Heaven, Kashmir, and my all-time favorite, When the Levee Breaks. This show was awesome. I can't say it enough. It didn't hurt that the guitarist, Tony Catania, looked like Jimmy Page. This show got [however cheesy it may sound] an 11 out of 10. The concert was a total sensory overload. By the end of the concert, I was dizzy from the noise alone. The visuals were phenomenal, as was the audio. My only regret was that it ended so soon. Although I'm happy that I got today off of school to recuperate from the awesomeness and get back into the routine of dullness.
Until next time,
Ferg

The Mirage
My goodness, it's been such a long time! In fact, it's been months since I last made my review. Since then, I've gotten a car, the sole reason for my next review. Her name is May (Short for Mayhem). This babe is a modified (obviously) 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage. It's white with orange vinyl decals, and features a orange spoiler on the back. There has been some engine work done, but I've had to make quite a few necessary trips to the Auto Care Center. For example, I've had to fix the windshield wipers, replace the alternator, tighten one of the belts, and the brakes need fixing. I give the car a 4.5 out of 10 based on performance. But for visuals, I'd have to give it an 8. But for this one, I'd like to know my reader's opinions. So post your opinions, your ratings based on performance, and based on visuals. I look forward to your reviews!

Powerpoint Heaven
Do you like to do random stuff on powerpoint? Well, my friend, welcome to Powerpoint Heaven. No really, it's called Powerpoint Heaven. Powerpoint Heaven is just a collection of things that you can do on powerpoint, and I must say, I was incredibly impressed by the entire website. There are things on drawing (powerpoint art), visual effects, and also helpful tips on how to create clever games such as motion mazes and the increasingly popular "room escape" games. This was a wonderful website altogether.

If you noticed, I didn't give this thing a rating out of 10. That's because in the history of this blog, Nothing has ever gotten lower than a 5. So I've stopped. If you liked it, I apologize, but a nice petition never hurt anyone and it might just change my mind. Also, I'd like to see who is reading my blog. Thank you.

The Bloody Hatchet
This week, I've decided to review yet another blog. Expanding my "blogosphere" and whatnot. Anyways, this blog is titled "The Bloody Hatchet" and is written by my good friend Jack. Jack likes to collect stolen pens and post-it notes, as well as long walks on the beach. He also likes horror movies, which was his inspiration for this blog. This blog is similar to mine in the fact that it is a review blog. But unlike mine, Jack likes to review Horror Movies. This is a relatively new blog, but I can tell, it's gonna be a good one. He reviews everything from classics such as Halloween, to newer movies such as Paranormal Activity. Jack rates movies based on 5 subjects: Plot, Gore, WTH Factor, Visual Effects, and Epicness. He takes all of these into account, and then he gives the movie a percentage rating. This is a phenomonal blog, and I wait for the day that it hits it big. I give Jack's "The Bloody Hatchet" a perfect 10 out of 10.

The Things You Don't Say to Your Wife
Alright, despite the format change, I've decided to review another youtube video. This will probably be the last for a while, but this video was too good to pass up. Christian comedian Tim Hawkins wrote this song, along with many others. This song is made up of many things a man should never say to his wife, such as "That dress reminds me " and "Happy Anniversary, I bought you a treadmill." I enjoy listening to this guy because, being a Christian, there is absolutely no bad language at all. That's a big plus. Also, growing up in the church my whole life, there is some jokes he makes in his comedy routines that most people don't get. I give this guy a near-perfect 8 out of 10. So I'm Having Second Thoughts
Hey guys, girls, and any combination of the two that happened to stumble across my blog. I've been thinking. Why limit my critique to ONLY youtube videos? I've been considering changing "This Week In Youtube!" to something more along the lines of "The Weekly Review" where I review anything that comes to mind. Now, this doesn't mean I won't be reviewing youtube videos, but I won't review them as often. I'll review things such as other people's blogs, commercials, people, etc. I'm still not for sure if the change is going to happen, and if it does, the page will still probably look the same, with the ravens, but the title and description will change. I appreciate your thoughts and opinions on this change!

EPIC ENERGY!!!!!
GRAAAWWWW!!!! EPIC ENERGY!!!! Epic Energy was a commercial made by yours truly, with some help of my friends for my New Media class. I'm kind of biased on this, but I personally thought the video was hilarious. Although due to the camera quality and the quality of the other actor, who's name cannot be mentioned, I give it a 9 out of 10. Great video all around.
