Do you like to do random stuff on powerpoint? Well, my friend, welcome to Powerpoint Heaven. No really, it's called Powerpoint Heaven. Powerpoint Heaven is just a collection of things that you can do on powerpoint, and I must say, I was incredibly impressed by the entire website. There are things on drawing (powerpoint art), visual effects, and also helpful tips on how to create clever games such as motion mazes and the increasingly popular "room escape" games. This was a wonderful website altogether.

If you noticed, I didn't give this thing a rating out of 10. That's because in the history of this blog, Nothing has ever gotten lower than a 5. So I've stopped. If you liked it, I apologize, but a nice petition never hurt anyone and it might just change my mind. Also, I'd like to see who is reading my blog. Thank you.
Tune in to my blog to hear what I have to say about, well, just about whatever I decide to review for the day!

The Bloody Hatchet
This week, I've decided to review yet another blog. Expanding my "blogosphere" and whatnot. Anyways, this blog is titled "The Bloody Hatchet" and is written by my good friend Jack. Jack likes to collect stolen pens and post-it notes, as well as long walks on the beach. He also likes horror movies, which was his inspiration for this blog. This blog is similar to mine in the fact that it is a review blog. But unlike mine, Jack likes to review Horror Movies. This is a relatively new blog, but I can tell, it's gonna be a good one. He reviews everything from classics such as Halloween, to newer movies such as Paranormal Activity. Jack rates movies based on 5 subjects: Plot, Gore, WTH Factor, Visual Effects, and Epicness. He takes all of these into account, and then he gives the movie a percentage rating. This is a phenomonal blog, and I wait for the day that it hits it big. I give Jack's "The Bloody Hatchet" a perfect 10 out of 10.

The Things You Don't Say to Your Wife
Alright, despite the format change, I've decided to review another youtube video. This will probably be the last for a while, but this video was too good to pass up. Christian comedian Tim Hawkins wrote this song, along with many others. This song is made up of many things a man should never say to his wife, such as "That dress reminds me " and "Happy Anniversary, I bought you a treadmill." I enjoy listening to this guy because, being a Christian, there is absolutely no bad language at all. That's a big plus. Also, growing up in the church my whole life, there is some jokes he makes in his comedy routines that most people don't get. I give this guy a near-perfect 8 out of 10. If you want to watch this video, click here.

So I'm Having Second Thoughts
Hey guys, girls, and any combination of the two that happened to stumble across my blog. I've been thinking. Why limit my critique to ONLY youtube videos? I've been considering changing "This Week In Youtube!" to something more along the lines of "The Weekly Review" where I review anything that comes to mind. Now, this doesn't mean I won't be reviewing youtube videos, but I won't review them as often. I'll review things such as other people's blogs, commercials, people, etc. I'm still not for sure if the change is going to happen, and if it does, the page will still probably look the same, with the ravens, but the title and description will change. I appreciate your thoughts and opinions on this change!

EPIC ENERGY!!!!!
GRAAAWWWW!!!! EPIC ENERGY!!!! Epic Energy was a commercial made by yours truly, with some help of my friends for my New Media class. I'm kind of biased on this, but I personally thought the video was hilarious. Although due to the camera quality and the quality of the other actor, who's name cannot be mentioned, I give it a 9 out of 10. Great video all around.

The Transformed Non-Conformist
Alright guys, this isn't a youtube video, but it's still great. This review is on a blog created by a friend to the family. The name of this blog is "The Transformed Non-Conformist", drawn from the bible verse, Romans 12:2, "Do not be conformed to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." In this blog, the writer simply writes about whatever is on his mind that day. His writing style is all his own, and his cleverness shines through in all he says. One thing I enjoyed about his blog is that he gives us some insight into his personal life, establishing a connection with the reader right away. I wish I could put this sense of personality into my writing, but unfortunately, due to the level of privacy I must maintain due to the requirements of my class, I cannot provide such insight to my personal life. Personally, I am glad that he has chosen to start writing in his very own blog and I am sure that all of you readers will enjoy reading his blog.

Hide yo kids, Hide yo Wife (Bedroom Intruder Song)
So by now, most of you have heard this song, which you can actually now download on itunes. This was taken from the Bedroom Intruder news story and made into a song. It had me laughing the entire way through, and it also has been stuck in my head for the past 10 minutes. This video got an 8 out of 10, mainly because the song was repetitive.

Russian 11-year-old Beat-Boxing
This video blew me away. One talent that I have always envied in others is the insane ability to beatbox well. In fact, if I could change only one thing about myself, it would be my ability to beatbox. This little eleven year old is one of the best beat boxers I have had the pleasure to listen to. When watcing this video, I realized, this little girl has the potential to do something with her life. I hope this girl makes it big, then I can say that I reviewed her youtube video years ago.

"Like a Good Boy"
"Like a Good Boy" is a parody of my personal favorite song of all time, "Like a G6" by Far East Movement. This song is, like the House parody, done by Nigahiga. I loved this parody, mostly because the lyrics made me laugh and they were easy to understand, as well as memorize. Rather than just posting each of Nigahiga's videos with the rest of the videos, I just changed the link to Nigahiga's personal youtube page. I recommend browsing the videos and watching those that appear interesting. With classics such as, "How to be Gangsta" and "How to be a Ninja", these videos will have you laughing nonstop. Nigahiga's videos are all clean, with the exception of possibly a quick mentioning of one of the "lesser" curse words. All in all, Nigahiga himself gets a perfect 11 out of 10.

Walrus Doing Sit-Ups
This is what I call an inspirational video. This video shows that we can learn from animals. I say this simply because this walrus does better sit-ups than the majority of the teenagers in my physical education class. The video is played to the song, "Eye of the Tiger" and it fits.

Fat Kid on Roller Coaster
This video is great.
I love this, it has successfully made my top ten. I don't usually like videos like this on account of the cruelty, but this one takes the cake. An obese child and their mother decide to ride that giant human slingshot that always looks so appealing at theme parks. Unfortunately for that child, the seat is not big enough and they begin to slide out of the seat. Don't worry, the safety straps do their job right. All in all, a perfect 10 out of 10.

Obama Kills Fly Like a Ninja
So for today's review, I've decided to turn to the political side. In this video, Obama decides to go ninja on a fly, who annoyingly buzzes his ear. I just thought this was a fun, querky video that everyone should see. So check it out. Call of Duty: Black Ops
So for my next review, I've decided to team up with my good friend, who also has a blog. His topic is Video Gaming reviews of games yet to be released. This week he has decided to review the ever-popular game, Call of Duty: Black Ops. While on his page, I followed a link to the latest multiplayer sneak preview, and I must say, I was thoroughly amazed. I personally cannot wait to get the game and play multiplayer with people from around the world. Check it out on his page, follow him if you like it. The link is above, just click where it says "his page" above in the paragraph.

House Parody by Nigahiga
This was my first requested review. I received this request on facebook after my friend saw that I had started this blog. So here it goes.
This was a great parody. If any of you have seen the popular show House, you will love this video. It begins with four friends playing rock band. Suddenly, the singer falls to the ground and begins having a seizure. Rather than paying a hefty hospital bill, the decide to "play House", and begin to work on the case as if it is the TV show, diagnosing him with strange things such as: "D.U.M.B.A.S.S." and "Miley Cyrus-Hannah Montana Syndrome". The video is one of the few videos that stays 100% clean as well as funny the whole way through. Kudos to Keelie, for recommending this video.

Ideas, anyone?
I'm in a crisis. There's millions of youtube videos on the web. How do I decide? Well, how about a little interaction from my followers? If you ever get a great idea on which video I should review next, post it somewhere on one of my blogs, preferably the newer ones, and if it sounds interesting, I'll review it. I look forward to your suggestions, it should be nice to see what kinds of videos my followers watch.

Harry Potter Puppet Pals: The Mysterious Ticking Noise
So for today, I decided to review another one of my favorites. This was my first video that I really watched on youtube, many, many years ago. Harry Potter Puppet Pals and The Mysterious Ticking Noise. This humerous Harry Potter parody uses characters from J. K. Rowling's series and puts them into puppet form, making for a humerous look. This video is entirely clean, I'd call it a PG. If you check it out, chances are it'll be stuck in your head for the rest of the day. An all-around great, clean, and fun video.

My purpose
Oh, and in case any of you were wondering, the purpose of this blog is to let people know what has been going on in youtube, as well as what's popular with the hipsters these days. Each day, or as often as I can, I will post a new review on a new youtube video, well at least new to this blog. Whether or not you watch it is entirely up to you. So why visit MY blog? I find that other blogs on the same topic are often bland. I'd like to think that my blog has what the other blogs tend to lack. Humor, personality, and correct spelling. It bothers me to no end when blogs are boring, bland, and most of all, when there are grammatical errors on the page. If you find one on mine, I would appreciate it if you would kindly point it out to me, that way I may correct my mistake. Thank you for your time.
WARNING: Not all videos are "family friendly", but simply search for the clean version if you feel you are not mature enough to handle the content. Don't worry, no nudity or "erotic" content will be reviewed, but I cannot say that the video will contain a curse word or two. I've tried to keep it school appropriate, but something may slip through my filter. I do not promote the use of curse words or vulgar language.

Powerthirst
So for my first post, I decided to start off with the best youtube video ever. I'm sure most of you will agree. Powerthirst is an energy drink which, after drinking it, helps you achieve the highest level of awesomeness. With over-the-top quotes such as "Drink Powerthirst and you'll win at everything forever!" Powerthirst is the epitomy of confidence. Although some would consider powerthirst as controversial and racist, the creators of the video state that it's all in good fun. Besides, you'll be laughing so hard, you won't even care. The only downside of Powerthirst is the language. Now, it isn't over-the-top, but there are one or two curse words. They manage to keep it PG-13, although we all know PG-13 can have the "F-Bomb" ONE time. Other than that, it was a great video.
