Powerpoint Heaven

Do you like to do random stuff on powerpoint? Well, my friend, welcome to Powerpoint Heaven. No really, it's called Powerpoint Heaven. Powerpoint Heaven is just a collection of things that you can do on powerpoint, and I must say, I was incredibly impressed by the entire website. There are things on drawing (powerpoint art), visual effects, and also helpful tips on how to create clever games such as motion mazes and the increasingly popular "room escape" games. This was a wonderful website altogether.

If you noticed, I didn't give this thing a rating out of 10. That's because in the history of this blog, Nothing has ever gotten lower than a 5. So I've stopped. If you liked it, I apologize, but a nice petition never hurt anyone and it might just change my mind. Also, I'd like to see who is reading my blog. Thank you.

The Bloody Hatchet

This week, I've decided to review yet another blog. Expanding my "blogosphere" and whatnot. Anyways, this blog is titled "The Bloody Hatchet" and is written by my good friend Jack. Jack likes to collect stolen pens and post-it notes, as well as long walks on the beach. He also likes horror movies, which was his inspiration for this blog. This blog is similar to mine in the fact that it is a review blog. But unlike mine, Jack likes to review Horror Movies. This is a relatively new blog, but I can tell, it's gonna be a good one. He reviews everything from classics such as Halloween, to newer movies such as Paranormal Activity. Jack rates movies based on 5 subjects: Plot, Gore, WTH Factor, Visual Effects, and Epicness. He takes all of these into account, and then he gives the movie a percentage rating. This is a phenomonal blog, and I wait for the day that it hits it big. I give Jack's "The Bloody Hatchet" a perfect 10 out of 10.

The Things You Don't Say to Your Wife

Alright, despite the format change, I've decided to review another youtube video. This will probably be the last for a while, but this video was too good to pass up. Christian comedian Tim Hawkins wrote this song, along with many others. This song is made up of many things a man should never say to his wife, such as "That dress reminds me " and "Happy Anniversary, I bought you a treadmill." I enjoy listening to this guy because, being a Christian, there is absolutely no bad language at all. That's a big plus. Also, growing up in the church my whole life, there is some jokes he makes in his comedy routines that most people don't get. I give this guy a near-perfect 8 out of 10. So I'm Having Second Thoughts

Hey guys, girls, and any combination of the two that happened to stumble across my blog. I've been thinking. Why limit my critique to ONLY youtube videos? I've been considering changing "This Week In Youtube!" to something more along the lines of "The Weekly Review" where I review anything that comes to mind. Now, this doesn't mean I won't be reviewing youtube videos, but I won't review them as often. I'll review things such as other people's blogs, commercials, people, etc. I'm still not for sure if the change is going to happen, and if it does, the page will still probably look the same, with the ravens, but the title and description will change. I appreciate your thoughts and opinions on this change!

EPIC ENERGY!!!!!

GRAAAWWWW!!!! EPIC ENERGY!!!! Epic Energy was a commercial made by yours truly, with some help of my friends for my New Media class. I'm kind of biased on this, but I personally thought the video was hilarious. Although due to the camera quality and the quality of the other actor, who's name cannot be mentioned, I give it a 9 out of 10. Great video all around.

The Transformed Non-Conformist

Alright guys, this isn't a youtube video, but it's still great. This review is on a blog created by a friend to the family. The name of this blog is "The Transformed Non-Conformist", drawn from the bible verse, Romans 12:2, "Do not be conformed to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." In this blog, the writer simply writes about whatever is on his mind that day. His writing style is all his own, and his cleverness shines through in all he says. One thing I enjoyed about his blog is that he gives us some insight into his personal life, establishing a connection with the reader right away. I wish I could put this sense of personality into my writing, but unfortunately, due to the level of privacy I must maintain due to the requirements of my class, I cannot provide such insight to my personal life. Personally, I am glad that he has chosen to start writing in his very own blog and I am sure that all of you readers will enjoy reading his blog.

Gambette Kudasai,
Keep your chin up,
The Writer of this Blog

Hide yo kids, Hide yo Wife (Bedroom Intruder Song)

So by now, most of you have heard this song, which you can actually now download on itunes. This was taken from the Bedroom Intruder news story and made into a song. It had me laughing the entire way through, and it also has been stuck in my head for the past 10 minutes. This video got an 8 out of 10, mainly because the song was repetitive.
